Due to continued growth and increasing demand for Hazardous Area expertise, an opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team. The Opportunity Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, this role will deliver Hazardous Area and broader electrical engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of industrial projects that span mining, power generation, and petrochemical. This is not a pure Hazardous Areas role. You'll provide specialist HA expertise while contributing across electrical engineering, project delivery, client engagement and technical leadership activities. Key Responsibilities Deliver Hazardous Area design, classification and engineering studies Complete Intrinsic Safety (IS) calculations and technical assessments Support Hazardous Area auditing and compliance activities Develop and review electrical engineering designs and reports Support project scoping, estimating and technical delivery Provide commissioning and operational engineering support About You Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) RPEQ registration highly regarded Demonstrated Hazardous Area engineering experience Strong understanding of HA design and classification Experience delivering electrical projects in industrial environments Exposure to mining, power generation, petrochemical, energy or heavy industry Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Why This Role?
